Good try but still needs work.....works better with some phones than others

bysuemccartin Feb 19, 2007

Pros Stereo, good quality speakers, long life battery
Cons Not compatible with some phones and dongles, heavy, microphone on earpiece
Recommended it? Yes

I got this headset awhile ago because I wanted wireless chat and sound for playing online games. It doesn't work well for this. My largest objection is that the microphone doesn't seem to be noise canceling or just doesn't noise cancel very well, you also seem to need to speak rather loud for the... Read full review »

Pros Amazing sound quality and range
Cons Some problems reconnecting, expensive
Recommended it? Yes

I am a computer programmer so I sit at my desk in front of my computer 8 hours a day. Naturally, I listen to music that whole time. I have iTunes, Rhapsody and I listen to internet radio streams. For a long time, I had a normal set of headphones. The old headphones were a little unusual as they had... Read full review »

Pros Good sound, Good Function, Good quality!
Cons looks funny when you wear them.
Recommended it? Yes

I had been wanting some headphones to use with my Treo 650 so I could listen to mp3s. After reading all the reviews of the other bluetooth headphones, it seemed as though these were the obvious choice for quality and sturdiness as well as compatibility.
I have used these both with my treo and... Read full review »

10 Helpfuls 11 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Looks, comfort, sound quality, overall features
Cons Can't be used with Verizon v3m (totally verizon's fault)
Recommended it? Yes

First of all I'd like to say that I am a picky person when it comes to electronics, and always find some reasons not to be completely happy with some new gizmo, looking for some features that can be improved. Well, it's not the case here. Not only HT820 totally met my expectations, but they... Read full review »

Pros Ease of use, comfort, style, functional
Cons high pitched sound issues, cant fold to make more compact
Recommended it? Yes

Ever since bluetooth was introduced into cell phones along with mp3 playing capabilities, I couldnt wait for a bluetooth headset that had two earpieces and that was also in STEREO sound. Well a couple years back I picked up this item for $50 on ebay, a steal of a bargain and overall I was pretty... Read full review »

Pros ease of control in action, plus phone functions, and great semi-hard case
Cons none
Recommended it? Yes

I bought this headset to run without wires and listen to music on the go. I love my Motorola HT820's cupping ear muffs cover my ears nicely and comfortably even after hours of wear. Complete with volume controls (for both phone and music device) on the left ear comfortably within easy on-the-go... Read full review »

It could have been a contender

byslash5 Jan 14, 2007

Pros Excellent sound quality for Bluetooth Stereo
Cons Uncomfortable. Compatibility issues when using Windows Media Player 11 and Musicmatch 10.
Recommended it? No

This could have been a winner for Motorola but falls short with regards to comfort and functionality. I purchase these for the sole purpose of listen to music on my laptop. I have been using ear buds for quite a while and was looking for a good Bluetooth stereo headset for more freedom from my PC... Read full review »

Pros Wireless, lets you answer your cell phone while listening to music
Cons Poor range, poor battery life, won't hold charge, unconfortable and bulky.
Recommended it? No

I was given a pair of Motorola HT820 Bluetooth headphones by my father-in-law after he realized he couldn't use them with his phone. Having a bluetooth capable phone and Bluetooth adapter for my computer I thought this would be a great thing to have.

I plugged 'em in and let them charge... Read full review »

Pros Great stereo performance when used with the DC800 stereo adapter. Lot's of cool...
Cons Hard to setup with the PC850 PC adapter. Max Volume a little weak.
Recommended it? Yes

I've had the Motorola HT820 bluetooth headset for about three weeks now and have the following observations. It offers good stereo performance when used with the DC800 Stereo adapter although the maximum volume may not be loud enough for everybody. Setting up the PC850 bluetooth PC adapter with my...
