In a time where game consoles are getting a processor with no less than 6 cores (IBM Cell for PS3), dual core processors just about make it into PCs creating a new hype for promised speed improvements.

Pros Great for overclocking because of an unlocked multiplier. Very inexpensive when compared...
Cons Not as fast as the other AMD 5000+ CPUs.
Recommended it? Yes

I have built several computers using this CPU. It has been a champ and an excellent upgrade over slower speed dual core CPUs. In addition, because of the 65 watt power consumption you can pull any AM2 cpu out of the motherboard and replace it with this one without any hassle.
