This Little Gadget Makes Camera Memory Easy to Move to the PC

Pros Convenient way to get information/pictures from a media card to a PC!
Cons It is a light weight. Needs to be secured.
Recommended it? Yes

For trips, we have an old, tiny Sony Laptop Vaio that has a Memory Stick port. We fill up the sticks we have and then download them to the laptop. Then, when we get home, we transfer the files via our home network/workgroup. Everybody is happy.

I got the Kingston FCR-HS215/1 card reader as part of a large purchase at B&H in New York, so is coming from a reputable seller and you would imagine all should work smoothly... Cons Cannot read XD cards.
Recommended it? Yes

This Kingston card reader is an excellent peripheral drive for your computer that is able to read almost every card imaginable except XD cards. If you an Olympus or Fuji camera with an XD card, this card reader is not for you.

Pros Cheap, reliable brand name, solid construction, works flawlessly.
Cons It's not as fast as the more expensive udma readers or a firewire devices.
Recommended it? Yes

I don't know that there's a whole lot to say about these cheap devices, but I think it always helps to have as much good or bad feedback to help decide between the large number of devices out there.  I actually use microSD, SDHC, and Compact Flash very regularly so I wanted a reader that at...
